As an ever-increasing influx of VIP’s enter The Portland Hospital, the pressure mounts. A Middle Eastern princess and a Premier League football player’s wife are amongst the patients. New member of staff Phoebe admits that her biggest fear is that they all go into labour at the same time, and new midwife Rachel reveals the shock of going from a busy NHS ward delivering babies, to carrying out more mundane jobs like brushing a patient’s hair. Meanwhile, dad of four Nick takes the luxuries of the private hospital with a pinch of salt.
