Wartime sitcom first aired in 1968, about the goings on of the British Home Guard during the Second World War. It is set in the fictional seaside town of Walmington-on-Sea, on the south coast of England and lasted nine series with a total of 80 episodes over a nine year period.
Dad’s Army is also considered a significant part of British television culture and was one of the first British sitcoms of its time.
