A stellar cast perform the classic musical Grease. It originally premiered in 1971 before getting the Hollywood treatment in 1978. Tonight it will be performed live before a studio audience.
After enjoying a summer romance, high school students Danny and Sandy are unexpectedly reunited when Sandy transfers to Rydell High. Will the meek and mild Sandy and gang leader Danny get back together despite the derision of their peers?
The star line-up includes performances from Aaron Tveit and Julianne Hough. Jessie J performs the theme song, and Boyz II Men appear as Teen Angel in one of the best known scenes.
All the classic songs are featured, including Hopelessly Devoted to You, Summer Nights and You’re the One That I Want.
