Humans – Season 2 – Episode 6

Catch up here with the most recent episode of Humans. From Sunday 04 December 2016 at 9pm on Channel 4. Available on catch up on E4+1 and All 4.

Channel 4 delights us with yet another season of the biggest sci-fi drama it has had to offer in the last twenty years.

Yes folks, it’s the return of Humans, where in a near-future world the android “Synths” do much of the work. The lead synth, Niska, is in Berlin. She is one of a small group of synths with a special code that has given them desires and feelings. Niska’s code is released into the system and promps “awakenings” around the world.

One Synth’s response to feeling her first emotions is lovely: “There’s too much contradictory data,” she says. “Nothing makes sense.”

This season sees Carrie-Anne Moss from The Matrix join the cast as an artificial intelligence expert. Her character seems to replace that of William Hurt, whose character was killed off in season 1.Since the climax of the first series, living machines Leo, Max and Mia are living in hiding in a coastal town. However, their secret is threatened by a very special synth and a mysterious organisation.

Niska is on the run in Berlin and is driven to a fateful decision. The Hawkins family try to get their lives back on track, and a scientist is recruited by a tech company for an experiment in artificial intelligence.
It promises to be just as good, if not better than season one and surely will retain its faithful fan following. This season offers 8 episodes and looks to supersede the previous audience of 4.8 million viewers in the UK alone.

Program Schedule: 9pm – 10pm
