This new series continues with the usual array of menace. There are festering feuds, deceit, secret affairs and murderous intent.

These are the bedrock of all Midsomer stories.

Midsomer Murders is a British detective drama series. It was first broadcast in 1997, and is based on the Chief Inspector Barnaby Books written by Caroline Graham. The series follows the murder investigations which happen in the picturesque, yet deadly village of Midsomer, a fictional county.

The programme stars Neil Dudgeon and Gwilym Lee.
