The popular crime drama, first broadcast in 1996, follows the work of a team of forensic pathologists who are experts of their field in investigating and solving puzzling crimes.
Although the series has received various points of criticism for either being overly gruesome, or inaccurate with regards to to the roles portrayed by the pathologists themselves, it is now in its fifteenth year of success and regularly pulls in on average 6 million viewers per episode.
