Follow eight celebrities who set off to Jaipur in India. They aim to set up a more rewarding retirement than in the UK. Wayne Sleep, Miriam Margolyes, Rosemary Shrager, Bobby George, Jan Leeming, Patti Boulaye, Roy Walker and Sylvester McCoy take over a private mansion in the heart of the old city and have to work out how to set up home together. In the opening episode, the group are shocked by the realities of coping with everyday life in India, including the hectic roads, poor toilet facilities and animals wandering the streets.
