Follow Griff Rhys Jones explore some of the most beautiful and amazing parts of Wales. As he explores the remains of the ancient Aust Ferry, which used to be the entrance way into Wales, Mr. Jones is faced with his challenge – to learn and perform the Welsh National Anthem!!!. Following his death defying attempt to walk the suspension cable of the Severn Bridge and stroll along the remains of Offa’s Dyke, Griff is determined to learn some of the Welsh language. After exhaustively practising his pronunciation of Llanelli, he swannies up the River Wye to Tintern, a prime tourist destination over 200 years ago.
After practising and perfecting the tune and words of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, Mr. Jones just needs somewhere to publicly make a specticle of himself. Then he meets the leader of a local handbell ringing group which presents a surprising solution.
