It comes to light at Head Quarters that Mainwaring is not a commissioned officer and he is ordered to join the ranks as a private. With Wilson in charge it’s not long before the troop are begging for Mainwaring reinstatement. A 1969 war time comedy, starring Arthur Lowe and John Le Mesurier.
