The amazing Derren Brown is back with his most ambitious experiment to date. His goal this time is to persuade an unwitting victim to push another person off a roof, seemingly to their death. The illusion investigates the strength of social compliance and how authority, peer pressure or ideology can be used to make people carry out horrific acts. The man in question is Chris Kingston, a 29-year-old member of the public who is unaware he’s being filmed or manipulated from a distance, and the setting is the gala launch night of a fictitious new charity called Push.
