DIY SOS The Big Build – Great Ormond Street Hospital
The DIY SOS team are out of their comfort zone this week, joining forces with two world-famous institutions – Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Chelsea Flower Show – for a special challenge. Gardener Chris Beardshaw has promised his gold medal-winning garden from the flower show to the hospital – now all Nick Knowles and his fellow builders have to do is crane the display across London and rebuild it on the hospital. It’s a hugely ambitious build, with tricky logistics and emotional volunteers. But knowing how much the garden will prove welcome respite for families, the team is determined not to fail.
Nick Knowles and the team rally round as many tradesman volunteers to work alongside the friends, family and local trades to help transform the homes of families across Britain who desperately need a helping hand.
