Follow the day to day lives of the local villagers of the fictional village previously known as Beckindale until 1994, in the Yorkshire Dales. The soap opera was previously called Emmerdale Farm until 1989.
First aired in 1972, it is currently the UK’s second longest running soap opera. It is currently broadcast on weekday evenings at 7pm on a 30 minute slot although double episodes are regularly shown so keep your eyes peeled if you’re a fan!
