Drama series about life on the wards of the hospital, following the highs and lows of the professional and personal lives of staff and patients. The show is a spin-off from Casualty and occasionally does a cross-over of characters and plots.
The series is broadcast weekly on BBC One and was first aired in 1999. Currently the show is pulling in around 4 million viewers per episode.
