Season two of Indian Summers is now under way and for those of you who missed the first season, you’re in for a treat. It’s a British drama series starring Julie Walters first broadcast in February 2015. The show details the events of summers spent at Simla, in the foothills of the Himalayas, by a group of British socialites at the time of the British Raj.
The first series was set in 1932 and filmed in Malaysia. It was broadcast in several countries subsequently. It is currently gaining UK ratings of around 2.5 million per episode.
