Broadcast by the BBC, the Great Edinburgh Cross Country is an annual race which takes place every January in chilly Edinburgh, Scotland. It is made up of three professional running races: the men’s 9 km long course, the men’s 4 km short course, and the women’s 6 km race. The race takes place from Holyrood Park, and is presented by Jonathan Edwards, with commentary by Steve Cram, Brendan Foster and Jo Pavey.
