DCI Barnaby has got a new sidekick, Sgt Jamie Winter. Neither of which are very popular with the residents of Midsomer.
This new series continues in a shorter than normal four parter with the usual array of menace. There are festering feuds, deceit, secret affairs and murderous intent. It’s more of a Christmas Special with viewers typically ignoring the plot as they aim to guess which character is about to die next.
Midsomer Murders is a British detective drama series. It was first broadcast in 1997. It is set in the fictional county of Midsomer. It is based on the Chief Inspector Barnaby Books written by Caroline Graham.
The series follows murder investigations which happen in the deadly village.
The programme stars Neil Dudgeon and Gwilym Lee.
