George rides to Trenwith to talk Elizabeth out of cancelling their wedding, while Ross’s fortunes seem to be changing for the better, with the offer of a prospering shipbuilding partnership from Tonkin, while Henshawe comes across the richest lode of tin he has ever seen when the mine clearance is completed.
