The Border is a brand new topical thriller set in a border guard unit. Here it specialises in detecting human-traffickers on the extreme border of the EU between Poland and Ukraine. It is a timely and gripping six part series. This drama is also the first Polish drama to be broadcast on UK television.
In the beautiful, yet isolated Bieszczady Mountains, a unit specialising in protecting the Polish/Ukraine border becomes the target of a devastating bomb attack. The Captain is the only survivor. Not only is he injured and shattered at the loss of his friends and girlfriend, he is also suspected of masterminding the tragedy himself. Captain Rebrow becomes desperate to clear his name and find out who is responsible. So, he secretly begins his own investigation and discovers a dark political plot at play.
