Following David Attenborough’s visit to the Great Barrier Reef in 1957, the renowned naturalist and broadcaster returns in this new three part series. He uses the latest filming techniques to unlock the secrets of the natural wonder.
In the second episode, he descends beneath the waves at night and uses cutting-edge technology to explore the shark-infested waters of Osprey Reef. He then returns to the nesting grounds of the Green Sea Turtle, 60 years after his first visit to Raine Island. He also gets a look at the manta ray cleaning stations on Lady Elliot Island, and tracks dwarf minke whales, among other exciting discoveries within the reef.
