After thirteen years held captive by her kidnapper, Ivy Moxam escapes. Piecing back together the version of family life that existed before is no easy task. As her friends from the past deal with their own demons of guilt, Ivy struggles with her own feelings towards her kidnapper, and feels the natural need to continue relationships where they broke as a 13- year old adolescent girl with a crush.

As the story unfolds, the kidnapper goes on the run and takes another young girl in an attempt to get Ivy back. It’s hard hitting and emotionally tumultuous. A great BBC series.
