Two teams of four of the best students from two UK universities battle it out to answer academic and general knowledge questions. The show ultimately makes the us viewers at home feel magnanimous when we get to answer just one question correctly!
First aired in 1962, the intellectual quiz show was first presented by Bamber Gascoigne for 25 years. He was then succeeded by Jeremy Paxman in 1994 when the show was revived.
