Series 6, episode 3.

The sixth series of this popular British detective series begins and is based on the works of crime author Ann Cleeves. The main character is Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope and is based in the fictional headquarters of the Northumberland & City Police station.
The character is a career-obsessed, driven DCI who has her own demons to survive. In Columbo style, dishveled and aloof she goes through the crimes using her calculating mind to solve them. Starring Brenda Blethyn.
